Does it give any golfer a greater advantage over another golfer? I don’t think so! I read where Michele wie was penalized 2 strokes for such an infraction. Doesn’t seem fair to any player.

Because golf was invented as an excuse to dig holes in the ground to have sex with it. Would you want someone touching your wife with a club? I think not, so golfers don’t want you touching their “wife” with your club.
