I have been playing a lot of golf over the past summer and have yet to achieve any substantially lower scores. This is partly due to inconsistency in my golf shots due to a habit I have of sliding my hips and moving my head on the start of my downswing. Are there any tips or drills to help cure this?

i usually can shoot mid 70s to high 70s. i take the game very seriously so when i struggle, im frustrated so heres my problem. my instructor said keep your hands low on your takeaway so on my takeaway, i turn with just the shoulders and let the body follow so my hands are low but its hard to keep my wrist flat by doing this. the problem that i use to have is lifting my hands on takeaway. now the scooping, i notice my club either hit it fat, or my club blades the grass, not a true solid hit down golf shot. so for me, just think of starting your golf swing with the shoulers but something is off, really off and i don't know what it is, the contact usually just SUCKS. plz help me out! my golf season starts in 3 weeks!!!

Im struggling with blocked shots such as drives or even 7 iron shots. I get quick in the downswing and hang back I try to compensate those by firing through but often yank it way left. Slowing down my swing doesn't help much nor does flaring my feet to allow better hip rotation what can I do. Is ts possible im making an incorrect turn or staying to stacked over the ball resulting in making a proper wight shift harder? When i hit it solid it low and right or medium high and right i feel as if sliding my hips instead of rotating them through i get golf is not;t hard once you get the secret so many player make it look easy because it is but it's also easy to get off any ideas to fix this?
I think the head is supposed to move a tad throughout the golf swing, but my head backs out a LOT during the downswing. Is just focusing on my head a good solution to this, if not can u give me one. Thanks
